Here is the schedule, and the abstracts of the lectures, of an upcoming workshop that will be held in Leipzig on October 28-29, 2026.

The title of the workshop is:

How to Make Religious Spaces? Performativity and Religious Spaces in the Southern Levant from Archaeological and Biblical Perspectives

The workshop will deal with various issues relating to the creation and definition of cultic spaces and is organized by RIAB Center member Dr. Judith Filitz (University of Augsburg). A volume of the papers is planned.
