A very interesting conference on Persian Period cult that will be held at BIU on January 26 to 29, 2026. The conference is organized by Prof. Tova Ganzel, and the Minerva RIAB Center is a co-organizer.

The conference, "Temple Life in the Persian Empire", will include lectures on a diverse range of topics relating to, inter alia, cult, religion, temple praxis, religious identity, texts and archaeology, covering various regions within the Achaemenid Empire.

I will also be presenting a paper in the conference - "Communities of Practice and Religious Identities in the Persian Period Southern Levant."

See below the detailed schedule.

Should be very interesting!
