Felix Hagemeyer

Felix Hagemeyer is a Research Assistant at Leipzig University, Academic Chair for History and History of Religion of Ancient Israel and its Environment. His PhD research (advisor: Angelika Berlejung) focuses on the economic, cultural, religious, and social interactions between Judah/Jerusalem and the Southern Levantine Coast from the Middle
Bronze Age to the Persian Period. In 2018, together with A. Dagan, A. Kleiman and J. Stein, he organized a German-Israeli Minerva School dedicated to the economic and cultural exchange between Aram and Israel in the Iron Age. Since 2015, he has regularly participated in excavations in Israel (Tel Azekah and Ashdod-Yam).
